In Friday's league game, the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) football team smashed the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC), by a final score of 42-0.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their game against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, North Raleigh Christian Academy overwhelmed Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC), 55-6, in a league game.
