The Riverside Panthers football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs to 21 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaver Falls for a WPIAL AA Midwestern battle on Friday, September 30. Riverside will face a Tigers squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs face the Western Beaver Golden Beavers (Industry, PA) in a WPIAL AA Midwestern battle, on Saturday, October 1. Freedom Area will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Golden Beavers enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 47-14 league win over Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA).
