Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC), 41-20 in a league test.

With the triumph, Riverside-Martin improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to confront the Pirates in a 1A East Conference 2 test on Friday, September 30. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-5. Perquimans won 22-6 in their recent league test against South Creek (Robersonville, NC)

With the loss, Washington County drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to confront the Pirates in a 1A East Conference 2 test on Friday, October 7. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-5.
