Colorado High School Soccer - Pagosa Springs knocks off Montezuma-Cortez
September 23, 2023: Pagosa Springs, CO 81147 Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO), 8-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Pagosa Springs will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Montrose (Montrose, CO).
The Panthers now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Telluride for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 30.
