Missouri High School Softball - Bevier bounces Atlanta
September 23, 2023: Atlanta, MO 63530 Bevier Wildcats (Bevier, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, MO), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meadville for a Class 1 District 11 challenge on Tuesday, September 26. Bevier will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Grundy County (Galt, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.
With the loss, Atlanta falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Green City (Green City, MO) to face the Gophers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. The Gophers enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Green City lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Worth County (Grant City, MO)
