The Little Cyclones now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Ames will meet a Toreadors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Toreadors record now stands at 4-15.
The Thunder (2-24) will now prepare for their game against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Nodaway Valley dropped by Bedford (Bedford, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
