September 23, 2023: Bondurant, IA 50035 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) and the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), saw Van Meter's volleyball squad nip Bondurant-Farrar by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Van Meter upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 15-10. Wapsie Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
The Bluejays now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll for a Raccoon River bout on Saturday, September 23. Bondurant-Farrar will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-15.
