September 23, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90025 The University Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mendez Jaguars to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. University will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-7.
The Jaguars (16-5) will now prepare for their game against Bell (Bell, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 10-6 record. In their last game, Bell gained a win over Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
