Texas High School Volleyball - San Benito crushed by Rivera
September 23, 2023: Brownsville, TX 78521 The Rivera Raiders prevailed the visiting San Benito Greyhounds volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Raiders now have a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weslaco for a 6A Region IV District 32 test on Tuesday, September 26. Rivera will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-16.
The Greyhounds (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals enter the 6A Region IV District 32 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Harlingen gained a win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
