September 23, 2024: Whitwell, TN 37397 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN) and the visiting Red Bank Lions (Chattanooga, TN), observed Whitwell's volleyball team top Red Bank by a count of 3-0.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hardy Memorial (South Pittsburg, TN). The Hawks enter the A District 5 contest with a 0-3 record.
Next, the Lions battle the Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN) in a AA District 6 contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Red Bank will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 9-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN).
