In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Carlisle Chiefs.

The Bishops (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons go into the Blue Ridge Athletic outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, New Covenant got by Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA), 9-0, in a league test.

The Chiefs now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westover Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Carlisle will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 league win over Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.
