September 23, 2025: Brunswick, GA 31520 The Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) softball routed the host Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
Next, the Bears clash with the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a 2A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 25. Pierce County will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 5-10 record after their 14-1 league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA).
With the loss, Brunswick moves to 11-10 on the season. The Pirates travel to Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 24. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Toombs County won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
