September 23, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27406 Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting John Yowell Academy Panthers (High Point, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Triad Math and Science Academy improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Bengals host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to meet the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Bethany Community lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)
Next, the Panthers meet the Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. John Yowell Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Fighting Pharaohs come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC).
