Pennsylvania High School Football - New Castle trounced by Central Valley

The Central Valley Warriors walloped the visiting New Castle Hurricanes football team by a final score of 56-7 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Central Valley improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Warriors host Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to confront the Quakers in a WPIAL AAA Northwestern Six outing on Friday, October 1. The Quakers go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Quaker Valley lost 62-0 in their recent non-league outing against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA)

With the loss, New Castle moves to 3-2 on the season. The Hurricanes host Montour (McKees Rocks, PA) to confront the Spartans in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway outing on Friday, October 1. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Montour won 28-21 in their recent non-league outing against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA)
