The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) and the host Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE), observed Lake Forest's football squad thwart Delcastle Technical by a count of 39-8.

The Spartans now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sussex Tech for a 2A District 3 contest on Friday, September 30. Lake Forest will play a Ravens squad coming off a 34-7 league loss to Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE). The Ravens record now stands at 1-3.
