The Foothill Cougars volleyball team (Palo Cedro, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA)

The Eagles (21-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Lassen was edged by University Prep (Redding, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
