September 24, 2024: Charleston, SC 29492 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC), observed Philip Simmons's volleyball team hold off Oceanside Collegiate Academy by a count of 3-2.
The Iron Horses (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Bridges Prep was tipped by Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Landsharks battle the Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC) in a contest, on Thursday, September 26. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 13-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC).
