September 24, 2024: Uniontown, PA 15401 The Belle Vernon Leopards soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Uniontown Red Raiders to 1 in the Leopards league victory on Tuesday.
The Leopards now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Yough for a non-league bout on Monday, September 30. Belle Vernon will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Brownsville (Brownsville, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Uniontown moves to 3-8 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA) to play the Wildcats in a WPIAL AAA 4 bout on Thursday, September 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Greater Latrobe won 3-2 in their recent league bout against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA)
