Vermont High School Soccer - Burr & Burton nudges Brattleboro
September 24, 2024: Brattleboro, VT 05301 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) and the host Brattleboro Bears (Brattleboro, VT), saw Burr & Burton's soccer squad hold off Brattleboro by a count of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Raiders enter the SVL-A battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Rutland tipped Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bears battle the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 28. Brattleboro will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 9-2 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, VT).
