Maryland High School Soccer - Westminster toppled by Liberty
September 24, 2024: Westminster, MD 21157 Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Liberty moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD) to clash with the Mavericks in a MVAL - Blue Ridge test on Thursday, September 26. The Mavericks come into the test with a record of 3-6. Manchester Valley won 2-1 in their recent league test against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD)
The Owls now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Carroll for a MVAL - Blue Ridge test on Thursday, September 26. Westminster will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Century (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-1.
