Virginia High School Soccer - Wakefield School knocks off Quantico
September 24, 2024: Quantico, VA 22134 The Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) soccer overwhelmed the host Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA), 9-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Fighting Owls now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tandem Friends for a Greater Piedmont challenge on Wednesday, September 25. Wakefield School will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA). The Badgers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Quantico moves to 0-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Wakefield Country Day (Flint Hill, VA) to encounter the Owls in a challenge on Wednesday, September 25.
