September 24, 2024: Carrollton, GA 30116 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), observed Central's softball team prevail over Starr's Mill by a tally of 15-0.
The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Columbus, GA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 16-5 record. In their last bout, Columbus knocked off Marion County (Buena Vista, GA), 11-8, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Wednesday, September 25. Starr's Mill will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 12-0 league win over Griffin (Griffin, GA).
