Nebraska High School Softball - Cozad bounces Chase County
September 24, 2024: Imperial, NE 69033 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Cozad Haymakers softball team scored a nice 24-7 win over the Chase County Longhorns.
The Haymakers (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Cardinals come into the C District match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Chadron was routed by Gering (Gering, NE), 16-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Longhorns confront the Bayard Tigers (Bayard, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 28. Chase County will attempt to better on its 0-19 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 9-10 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Hershey (Hershey, NE).
