September 24, 2024: Kansas, OK 74347 The Salina Wildcats (Salina, OK) softball nipped the host Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ketchum for a 2A outing on Thursday, September 26. Salina will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Fairland (Fairland, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 5-14.
With the loss, Kansas moves to 14-15 on the season. The Comets travel to Kellyville (Kellyville, OK) to encounter the Ponies in a 3A outing on Thursday, September 26.
