September 24, 2024: Wheeler, TX 79096 Kelton Lions (Wheeler, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wildorado Mustangs (Wildorado, TX), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Kelton improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX) to face the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 1 test on Friday, September 27. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-6. Fort Elliott won 3-1 in their recent league test against Miami (Miami, TX)
The Mustangs now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Darrouzett for a 1A Region I District 1 test on Saturday, September 28. Wildorado will face a squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Shamrock (Shamrock, TX). The record now stands at 2-1.
