September 24, 2024: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 The Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) volleyball knocked off the visiting Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Lourdes for a non-league bout on Friday, September 27. Spackenkill will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Rondout Valley drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Ganders travel to Red Hook (Red Hook, NY) to clash with the Raiders in a MHAL bout on Thursday, September 26. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Red Hook lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY)
