Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Forbush lost by West Stokes (King, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. North Stokes will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Villains come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
