In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host East Longmeadow Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Springfield Terriers.

The Spartans (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Belchertown (Belchertown, MA). The Orioles come into the Pioneer Valley - Southern challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Belchertown beat Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Terriers face the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) in a test, on Wednesday, October 1. West Springfield will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record.
