The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lyndon Tigers (Lyndon, KS) and the visiting Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), saw Lyndon's volleyball squad nip Iola by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lyndon upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year. The Tigers host Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS) to play the Vikings in a Flint Hills bout on Tuesday, September 28. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Mission Valley lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Northern Heights (Allen, KS)

The Mustangs now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 25. Iola will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-11.
