Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 7-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Central Piedmont 4A challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Parkland will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC).

The War Eagles now possess a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Wednesday, September 27. Davie will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-2 league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-12.
