September 25, 2023: Gary, IN 46402 The 21st Century Charter COUGARS volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks to 0 in the COUGARS non-league victory on Monday.
The COUGARS now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westville for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 27. 21st Century Charter will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 17-8.
The Hawks (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees enter the non-league game with a 18-10 record. In their last game, Morgan Township dropped by South Central (Union Mills, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
