September 25, 2023: Charles City, VA 23030 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA) and the host Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA), saw Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech's volleyball squad beat Charles City by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Dragons travel to Surry County (Dendron, VA) to play the Cougars in a Tri-Rivers bout on Thursday, September 28. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Surry County won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Sussex Central (Sussex, VA)
The Panthers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host West Point for a Tidewater bout on Tuesday, September 26. Charles City will play a Pointers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 5-5.
