Missouri High School Soccer - Benton knocks off Lafayette
September 25, 2024: St. Joseph, MO 64505 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) and the host Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO), saw Benton's soccer squad triumph over Lafayette by a count of 6-1.
The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS). The Ravens enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record.
Next up, the Fighting Irish battle the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) in a Midland Empire battle, on Monday, October 7. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
