New York High School Soccer - Portledge knocks off Lexington School for the Deaf
September 25, 2024: Locust Valley, NY 11560 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Portledge Panthers (Locust Valley, NY) and the visiting Lexington School for the Deaf Blue Jays (Jackson Heights, NY), saw Portledge's soccer squad prevail over Lexington School for the Deaf by a count of 4-0.
The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rye Country Day (Rye, NY). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Rye Country Day Fieldston (Bronx, NY), 0-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Blue Jays battle the Stony Brook Bears (Stony Brook, NY) in a battle, on Friday, September 27. Lexington School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Carle Place (Carle Place, NY).
