New Jersey High School Soccer - Metuchen nudges South River
September 25, 2024: Metuchen, NJ 08840 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) and the visiting South River Rams (South River, NJ), saw Metuchen's soccer squad hold off South River by a score of 1-0.
The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Bound Brook tipped Immaculata (Somerville, NJ), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Rams confront the Perth Amboy Panthers (Perth Amboy, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. South River will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ).
