Georgia High School Softball - Bryan County bounces Islands
September 25, 2024: Pembroke, GA 31321 The Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) softball routed the visiting Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Redskins now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emanuel County Institute for a 1A D-II Region 3 outing on Tuesday, October 1. Bryan County will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-4 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Islands moves to 5-12 on the season. The Sharks host Calvary Day (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a 3A Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 26. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a record of 7-8. Calvary Day lost 9-3 in their recent league outing against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA)
