Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Desert Sunrise improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Yuma (Yuma, AZ) to face the Criminals in a 4A - Black Canyon test on Monday, September 30. The Criminals go into the test with a record of 0-7. Yuma lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ)

The Buffaloes now own a 1-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dysart for a 4A - Black Canyon test on Monday, September 30. Tempe will face a Demons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cactus (Glendale, AZ). The Demons record now stands at 8-8.
