September 25, 2024: Sparta, GA 31087 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) and the visiting Gatewood Gators (Eatonton, GA), witnessed John Hancock Academy's volleyball team gain a win over Gatewood by a margin of 2-0.
The Rebels now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Augusta Prep Day for a GIAA 4AA bout on Thursday, September 26. John Hancock Academy will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, Gatewood drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26.
