Spectators at Thursday's league bout between the Red Hill Salukis (Bridgeport, IL) and the visiting Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL), saw Red Hill's football team gain a win over Edwards County by a final score of 30-0.

With the win, Red Hill advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Salukis travel to Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton (Christopher, IL) to confront the Bearcats in a Black Diamond contest on Friday, October 3. The Bearcats enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton lost 40-6 in their recent league contest against Sesser-Valier/Waltonville (Sesser, IL)

Coming up next, the Lions confront the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a Black Diamond battle, on Friday, October 3. Edwards County will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Foxes go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 26-23 league loss to Eldorado (Eldorado, IL).
