The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) and the visiting Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA), witnessed Ventura's flag football squad knock off Santa Barbara by a final score of 34-18.

With the win, Ventura advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Madera (Madera, CA) to encounter the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Friday, September 26. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Madera won 26-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA)
