The Colby Eagles edged the host Hugoton Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 30. Colby will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the game with a 11-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS).
