Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Colquitt County improves its record to 9-17 on the season. The Packers travel to Valdosta (Valdosta, GA) to face the Wildcats in a 6A Area 1 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 17-14. Valdosta lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Columbia (Lake City, FL)

The Eagles now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial Day for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. Sherwood Christian Academy will meet a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bryan County (Pembroke, GA). The Matadors record now stands at 4-11.
