Maryland High School Volleyball - Fort Hill over Southern

Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) and the host Southern Rams (Oakland, MD), saw Fort Hill's volleyball squad notch a victory over Southern by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Fort Hill improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Northern Garrett (Accident, MD) to encounter the Huskies in a Western Maryland battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 8-0. Northern Garrett won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA)

Next, the Rams meet the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) in a Western Maryland contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Southern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Miners enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northern Garrett (Accident, MD).
