South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, South Point advances its record to 12-5 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to play the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. McMichael won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC)

Next, the Huskies play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 5A/6A challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Huss will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).
