The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Ridley Raiders to 1 in the Fightin' Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Fightin' Tigers now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin for a non-league game on Friday, September 26.

The Raiders (2-10) will now prepare for their game against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Aces go into the Central game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Lower Merion was dropped by Springfield (Springfield, PA), 3-0, in a league game.
