In Monday's league bout, the Radnor Raptors (Radnor, PA) volleyball team held off the host Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), by a count of 3-2.

The Raptors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Aces enter the Central contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Lower Merion tipped Ridley (Folsom, PA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penncrest for a Central battle on Wednesday, October 1.
