In Thursday's league challenge, the host Thomasville Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mitchell County Eagles.

The Bulldogs (15-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Grace Christian Academy (Bainbridge, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Grace Christian Academy was beaten by Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) in a 1A Area 1 test, on Tuesday, September 30. Mitchell County will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-15 record after their 2-0 league loss to Taylor County (Butler, GA).
