September 26, 2022: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 The Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) softball routed the visiting Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 7-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Falcons (13-9) will now prepare for their bout against Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Gladiators go into the 5A Region 8 bout with a 6-13 record. In their last bout, Clarke Central held off Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 16-1, in a non-league bout.
The Red Raiders now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a 4A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, September 27. Madison County will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-7.
