September 26, 2022: Durham, NC 27707 Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls (Durham, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors (Durham, NC), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bulls battle the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 30. Cristo Rey Research Triangle will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Oak Ridge Military Academy (Oak Ridge, NC).
With the loss, Mount Zion Christian Academy drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mighty warriors host Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC) to battle the Guardians in a match on Tuesday, September 27.
