The Polk County Wolverines held off the host Hendersonville Bearcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wolverines now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league test on Thursday, September 28. Polk County will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-8.

The Bearcats (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 1-5 record.
